Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

For the N/A difficulties, can we vote difficulty?

If I've listed a world has difficulty "N/A" that means it doesn't have a win block, but it's still complete enough to be on the list.

#3 Re: Worlds » CK's Official World Catalog » 2018-10-14 19:38:01

Updated with like 8 worlds, including maps made during the tournament! Also, I usually try to keep this updated decently frequently (I've been slacking lately though), so even if I don't make an update post then come back to this topic every now and then and there might be some new stuff. Cheers everyone!

Wow, just earlier today I was thinking about asking you the same thing. I've been a long time fan of your work, that would be dope!

#7 Re: Game Suggestions » EE needs music » 2018-05-20 18:14:50

They just should add a way to make music loops in EE with another UI. Something simple like this tool: https://danielx.net/composer/ wouldn't be impossible to implement, and it would vastly improve people's enjoyment of worlds. They could let you save tracks and choose which worlds you want them to play over, even be able to share them with friends or the community. It would not be a stretch to add this into the game, they already have the sound effects, and the storage size of these tracks would be rather small.

Man, this is really upsetting. You were a fantastic mod, and getting to know you and seeing your updates come out was truly great. It's a shame to see you leave, even if I've mostly quit //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/sad
Best of luck in the future, man!

For this topic, I'm going to make a cohesive list of all the worlds I've either made, or had a significant enough part in helping make, as well as my role for the collaborations.

Small, Medium and Secret worlds
Small worlds
Medium worlds

Feature length worlds

Worlds with an aqua title are collaborations with one or more people, and white titles are solo projects.

If you noticed, a big thing I do in my descriptions in each world is talk about how I've evolved as a level creator. I truly believe that with enough practice, anyone can evolve in this same way. I'm not perfect, and I'm not happy with every level I've made, but what's important is that I know what's wrong and how to improve. I'm learning more and more with each world I release, and I hope that anyone aspiring to make levels they're truly proud of knows that it's possible. Just look at where I started!

I think that's all for now, and as always, feedback and criticisms on any of my levels or parts of levels I helped on is always much appreciated! I look forward to making newer and better projects, and inspiring more of you to do the same. Thanks for all the support you've given me, everyone!

#13 Re: Off Topic Discussion » Dancing with a partner » 2017-09-27 23:27:29

Hi I have some experience with dancing, girls, and dancing with girls.

First of all, I need to stress this: girls are not a piece of meat. They're not a different species, they are just like guys, and if you're stuck in the '50s and objectify them in any way or are sexist in any way then you don't stand a chance with any of them that are worth your time (THIS INCLUDES "JOKES"! EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE KIDDING! EVEN IF YOU EMPHASIZE THAT YOU'RE KIDDING! People don't like to be made fun of). Basically, if you don't see yourself being JUST friends with a girl, then you're not ready for a romantic relationship (if that's what this is about).

Now, for dancing, the most important thing to do is practice, practice, practice. It makes use of your muscle memory, and soon you'll know what you're doing and it won't get as hard to try to concentrate on 30 things at once. If you practice enough, it will become second nature, and you'll just be moving your body more automatically, and concentrating on things like having a conversation with the person you're dancing with. Another thing, don't look at your feet constantly. When you start, you will be, and that's ok, but if you want to impress someone then that's not what you do. This doesn't mean avoid looking at your feet at all cost, you should be looking down occasionally to make sure you're not stepping over each other, and there's enough space, and you're matching to the rhythm, etc, but it shouldn't be where your focus is. Just remember that when you learn, you'll be much more confident, and your partner will notice that. Unfortunately, I've never really danced the cha cha cha or waltz, so I can't really give any specific help on learning those.

Lastly, I feel like this is important to say to this community with how many guys are here, please don't do anything creepy. People will give you signals that they don't want anything to do with you (including girls), such as turning away, answering questions briefly, and generally moving away from you or keeping personal space. Watch out for these, because if you don't, then she's gonna tell all her girl friends that you're a creep. And if you're wondering why this happens to you, then you gotta take a really introspective look into yourself, and figure out the differences between you and people who have an easy time with girls, or people in general.

I hope at least something in there was useful, and good luck on your dance!

Would we get points taken off if we don't take advantage of the entire 300x300 area? For instance, if we narrow it down to 200x200, would that lower our score?

#16 Re: Worlds » Tredici Boosters » 2017-08-31 00:01:08

This is a very well made world! Although I didn't finish all of it I really enjoyed what I did play, from the art to the gameplay. It's refreshing to see some new really well crafted worlds show up, especially from a newer face around here.

I look forward to seeing your future projects!

#17 Re: Graphics Suggestions » Light » 2017-08-21 00:40:11

I've wanted this for so long!! Just think about how much more immersive and atmospheric worlds would become with actual smooth lighting

But since people have different tastes, it should definitely be a world option to enable or disable the effect

I'm back with another solo world! Explore around the cozy valley, and go sight-see through the caves. This level is pretty easy, and almost everyone should be able to beat it with little challenge. Although art was a major focus of mine for this world, gameplay was too, so it shouldn't be awful to play through. Hope you enjoy!

I'm always looking for feedback, so please don't be afraid to tell me how you think I could improve. I'm hoping to get back into level making for a little while again, so any critique is much appreciated. Thanks everyone, hope you like it!

Other notes:
Stubby's Moderator Land is technically open exploration in whatever order you want, however, in it's current state it's unbeatable if you're alone because of key doors and gates blocking coins (at least to my knowledge). It also doesn't completely have the same feel as the other worlds.
Kirby's Sewer World is also open exploration, but it feels more like a confined coin hunt, and its quality isn't as high as the others.

If you have any more worlds to suggest, or comments about this campaign idea so far, then please let me know!

I absolutely adore this level. The open exploration theme is great, and the in game art and such is well made. Would love to see more levels like this, nice job
