I also bought two smileys for gems from the Classic section and noticed afterwards I had been charged full price for both. When I tried to purchase beta (listed at 38 gems), I was also prompted with a popup to buy more gems.
A week or two ago I asked in-game and Nou confirmed that the sale would also apply to gem purchases.
Right now the 50% prices are being displayed, but the full price is being charged.
This is not ok.
