we already have a newer one, putting both tutorials in would confuse new players

Thats NOT an argument. The idea is to bring back the old tutorials, in a campaign, like in a museum. NOT to replace the new ones.

well there's no good reason to bring them back in the first place. they look and play like crap compared to the new tutorials

But there are already new tutorials as a campaign which are much better designed, and show newer blocks. The only thing it doesn't have is an edit box (which doesn't work in that tutorial anymore either), but that's something that isn't hard to figure out in your own world.
