Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yahoo hired Player.IO?
No they didn't. Yahoo BOUGHT Player.IO's parent company PlayerScale. https://web.archive.org/web/20110925012 … scale.com/ Player.IO was later sold to The Games Platform Company ApS (Can't find much about that company.) The Wikipedia article about PlayerScale (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayerScale) even mentions EE and both breaches.
many worlds might need restored from prior backups due to the corruption from the hacking. So we'll attempt to make sure there's at least some way for you to save the latest clean version of your worlds.
One of my worlds has straight up been replaced with **** so that's fine.
kaj93 wrote:(It should be because GDPR.)
We worlds are not your personal information and you don't own them. In terms and conditions it says that levels are the property of ee, not a player, and ee staff can do whatever they want with your worlds. So they created required to do this
Maybe their could be information on signs, but that it farfetched . I don't have my hopes up for a release of EE Offline or Universe with Xenotix in charge anyways, so the levels would probably just become useless files.

That's too good.
Looking back at the post I see how it comes across a little more dramatic than I necessarily intended, but I'm glad you guys had fun with it. We all needed to let loose a little after the stress of everything lately. And while that doesn't take away from any lasting negative effects of the password leaks, what's done is done. Ultimately there's nothing we can do once that information was leaked.
How they obtained that information is still a mystery, considering we haven't found any compromised code, and there's nothing in the logs on PlayerIO to suggest there were any changes to the site or the game file. We can only guess that they may have found a way to get access to the backend services in a different way that allowed them to swap out files without giving away their presence. I don't know. We're trying to reach out to people who might be able to help, but I wouldn't count on EE coming back if we can't find a way to impede their ability to access the backend.
But throughout this I've been focusing mostly on EEU, and we're working our way closer to the release. Whether it's ready two, three, four, or more weeks from now is something we'll just have to wait and see. But it's coming.
So will it be possible to get my levels as .eelvl files for EE Ofline if EE doesn't come back? (It should be because GDPR.)
Even though most are not that important I do have quite a few fond memories of them. I cant seem to open levels in the Kong version using my alt.
Same problem here, please fix, it's my favourite building project and another world. (And possibly other worlds because I had to put my energy into something...)
I dont think they added any of the action blocks, which would probably require a large amount of effort to get working, and would probably end up with it being almost as bad as the flash client
If a new client is going to be made, it needs to have action blocks in mind from the start, otherwise it will probably end up as a bunch of spaghetti again...
It does have the gravity blocks, and it's a very new client and not yet a spaghetti, so they can keep it organized.
I believe Megalamb said buying gems was temporarily disabled, presumably because they weren't sure enough wether te game would stay online or not.
Yes, okay, EE is dead, but that is because of the staffing issues. If the current staff can find someone that will make a difference to the game and that the EE community looks up to, that would make a big difference.
We don't know how this staff is going to do, someone is really mad and is attacking them, and PlayerIO (The hosting provider.) is not really wanting to help either. The new staff has not had a chance yet, so we'll see.
It doesn't work for me.
Keep on trying, took me 5 to 10 minutes...

I will look into restoring your streaks but honestly getting EE back up is my #1 priority.
Yeah, having EE is more important than having EE with a nice, if more than 21 days useless, login streak.
It hasn't worked for me... Usually its ALWAYS SLOW to get on and I have to refresh at least 5 times for it to work... now it won't work whatsoever. I tried both Facebook EE, Facebook Gameroom EE, Everybodyedits.com.. none work.
I had to do the spamming ting for about 5 to 10 minutes. So hang on in there... (I just went an got my login streak, played a bit of a level, then got bored (I don't like the advent calendar campaign), and left.)

I would be surprised if Emalton even does Anything
I've already contacted our hosting provider, this is an issue on their end. Any attempt that can be made at fixing it would only be temporary.
I sent them a message a few days ago - still no response.
Could you possibly somehow pause the login streaks?
The hosting provider is a special game host (PlayerIO) so the game is built around how their service works, so yes it will probably be too hard to switch provider
Yeah, already was afraid so, The last time EE was down for a very long time they weren't very responsive either. (Back when NVD was active, he was working on getting EE back up until midnight, too late for me, RIP login streak.)
Cakeje wrote:Opening 4 tabs with EE and spam refreshing worked for me. Could give it a try.
Until we receive a response from our hosting provider, unfortunately this is the best option.
My apologies.
Maybe you could switch hosting provider? Or is that too complicated?
And a question that I tought of when trying another PC and had to activate Flash, wich didn't work: Are you resuming work on EE in a new engine?
Great, I'm in. And I'm not gonna leave.

It doesn't work for me. Am I doing it wrong? (I.E. Please explain exactly how you did it.)
I opened 4 windows each in a corner of the screen, then refreshed them all, waited 20 seconds or so for then to (not) load, then repeat until one actually loads
Okay, then my auto-refresh extension set to 2 seconds was a bit overkill...
Opening 4 tabs with EE and spam refreshing worked for me. Could give it a try.

My EE won't load.:|
Nobody's EE loads. Currently it's Nobody Edits. The game is currently down and we are not sure if it is ever coming back. Go play something else in the meantime.
Now EE is just: https://imgur.com/a/FoYjn
AAAAND IT'S BROKEN AGAIN! Yay maybe? I'm starting to feel like a reboot instead of porting isn't such a bad idea after all...
Game works again. Good job not being NVD! Now just get that Unity/HTML5 version working!
EDIT: NOW I'M MAD JUST KEEP IT UP!
It works again! Congrats to Emalton for not going NVD!
I've got this problem too, but I was online earlier, so my glorius 400+ login streak is saved. For now. (Would've been more, but there were problems before and NVD was too slow with fixing them, so 30 minutes before midnight they were fixed, but I was sleeping, so my glorius streak was gone.) I hope Emalton is trying to fix it and hasn't gone NVD mode already... And yes, I would like to at least know wich city NVD lives in.
kaj93 wrote:Emalton wrote:Are you still having issues loading the website?
I do, and since I use Linux downloading is not an option...
have you tried the direct swf link
http://r.playerio.com/r/everybody-edits … eegame.swf
Still just the loading screen... (Clearing cookies didn't work either.)
