Should be nice something like it: every world you have, you can use 2 slots for saving
e.g: you want build something big but you don't have more big worlds, so you go to your biggest world, clear it, build whatever you wanna and save the world on the 2º slot, when you want to load the previsios level you use /loadlevel 1 or /loadlevel 2

There are bots that can do exactly what you're describing. I believe NBot had that feature, but there's probably alternatives too.

But I like your idea. Although it can be done with bots, this would be a nice in-game feature.

I have a mac, so for some reason most bots don't work, including this one

I really would like it to be an ingame feature
