Social 2.0 Buzzword buzzword SEO etc.

As you may have noticed, some new social media buttons have been hopping all over around the forums and just generally being rearranged and fiddled with. Apparently nobody wants to make their button the same size as anyone else's button, *grumble grumble*

This is to help increase visibility for the forum, help us out and try them out! If your favorite site isn't up there, try the AddThis widget on the very bottom of the page.

It's a good way to help promote the forums if you like them

Feel free to suggest more/additional buttons.

I would put it near the submit button. That way, people are SURE to see it.

Nah top of the page is pretty good I think. I'd rather have it up there than at the very bottom.

Adjusted +1's size, made it a "medium" button now so it fits right in line with the others. I had missed the option cause it's being awkward off to the right and so I didn't see it:

It fits much better now!

I'm having a blast refreshing the page and watching them move.

EDIT: They look rather ugly where they are now, which, as I'm typing, is the top of the page. On most sites with these social plugins (that's what you call them, right?), I usually find the buttons on the bottom of the page.

This, and the "FORUM / PLAY / etc" stuff, could be centered. It may "fix" their ugliness.

Personally, I always accidentally clicked the addthis thing way too many times while simply trying to click index, and I think they're way too destracting and if you won't put them at the bottom, atleast put them below the Forum / play / beta etc thing and above the Index >> catagory >> thread thing.

This isn't the place to discuss this, so lemme post something relevant.

I love the buttons, but they're awkward where they are. You could add them on a sidebar on the right/left side, maybe.

Anyway...
You should go ahead and remove the 'play' buttons, since anyone who comes here is gonna know about the game (most likely), and remove the 'users' button, because people aren't too lazy to go a bit higher to click the real one.

hmm, i would love to click all the buttons. *i have an acc on everythin D:<* but my so called friends call me gay when i talk about EE they think that it is something for childs... you should but them next to submit too. maybe 1 or just a pop up button with "share" on it
