Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I did openly said that I'm leaving EE a few days ago, but was this enough to loose my account?
Today I've seen this while trying to join the game.
Apparently I'm required to change my username, my former username not being eligible.
I expect not only the salvation of this bug, but also the reason behind it.

I typed ZUMZABUG and this seems to be my username now.
I want to say again that I didn't request any username change.

I'm proud that you did what you had to do to get on a game that you don't like!
Over the years you have shown great dedication and hard work, even if you don't like said things!
I can't express to you how proud of you I am kiddo!!

Well, if you request kindly an admin, maybe they'll change the name for you for free. Try explaining everything.
Anybody official seems to be out of reach.

If you go on Processor's profile stats it says that "Zumza" doesn't exist. Zumzabug does .
Rip Zumzabug 2011-2017. Never forgetti.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

You're gonna have a wait a day or two sometimes.
suddenly random sig change

Okay so this randomly popped up today, and I don't want to change my name. What happened and how can I get help?
(I never requested a name change, only recently have I, but it already went through)
It happened to me too, when I reverted my name change from a random username I set before I "quit" (too lazy to write about this).
You'll need to contact a game administrator.

Fixed by Jesse manually, not sure why this happens tho
This seems to be repeating. HG and zyhrllos had this bug as well. Perhaps even more EE users, which are not as involved in the game to enter the forums or to contact an admin if they have problems.

your posts look like you might not code...
say, for example, the database has a flag that says "needs-to-set-username" and for most users it's set to false. In this case normal behavior is to not ask for a username. But, in some weird circumstances, rogue code sets that value to true.
Suddenly, the normal behavior, for whoever runs that bad code, is to get that new username. What's an easy fix to get things back to working order? Just set needs-to-set-username to false. BUT, the code causing the problem is still around.
tl;dr: addressing the symptoms not the sickness

im already aware of this, but i found it quite peculiar that this happened again in just a few days, and it hasnt happened to hg or anyone else since
I think Jesse should look on our PayVault history for a connection, just guessing.
