I'm not. He made alts to pm Zoey but he got banned instead. He accumulated points and got banned forever, simply. The points system is ridiculous

I think the warning points system is good in general, however, I think that when it comes to permabans (or bans long enough to be considered 'permanent') the mod team should think it over.

Have some leniency, especially when some things have reasonable explanations that an automated system can't figure out.

I don't think you can get permabanned through points. Also I don't think he made alts just to PM zoey, because 1. he made quite a lot of alts, and 2. there are so many other ways he could have communicated with her. So it probably would've been pretty easy for him to wait out his ban length, but instead he decided to be annoying, so it can be argued that he deserves his ban. That said, I wouldn't really care if he got unbanned, because although he's annoying when he's banned, he's not so bad when he's not banned.

The idea of penalizing a ban is the whole essence of the argument against what you claim here. If one creates separate accounts whenever they need to actually access the forums, they aren't really banned. In that sense, there's no reason at all to respect his "right" to be here, given that he doesn't respect his responsibility to not be here temporally.

In short, a person who ignores their ban should not be unbanned.

It's not really fair to ban someone 100+ times a year for just a few hours (I don't want to mention names, you all know who!) and ban 8 months or more a good ol'member of the community, he screwed up, OK! move on and give him another chance guys. Eight months is more than enough...really.
