Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: [mod] tag

How to get everyone banned from forums in six easy steps:
Step 1: Create a post.
Step 2: press NONMOD.
Step 3: Fill up space in between [nonmod] and [/nonmod] with racial slurs and other bad things.
Step 4: Submit.
Step 5: Wait for others to get ridiculously mad at you while not using NONMOD tag.
Step 6: Profit.

Re: [mod] tag

I'm not the admin here so I can't definitively say "wow this is never going to happen" but take it from me as a fellow layman

wow this is never going to happen

-hiding content from mods 5/7
-the mod-only sounds interesting, but we could just have a separate field that all mods can edit without bothering with the BBCode

Re: [mod] tag

using any BBCode to hide anything from users with access to the quote button is pointless. You can make a [guest] tag since they can't simply hit quote to unmask it, but anything else and just hitting that quote button will reveal it.

ok, devil's advocate time

let's say you set it up so that quoting was also "in cahoots" with this fanciful system?

the point isn't to completely hide it

its like text like this but just with (mod) and (nonmod) tags

maybe there could be a button at the bottom saying "show nonmod and mod tags"?

then we go to "what's the point in the first place?"
