Meaning of daily bonus (energy)?

So first you invest all of your energy into something and go to sleep
You wake up and you have your energy filled, but you also get bonus energy from daily bonus
As you can see if your energy is full daily bonus will give you 0 bonus energy no matter how much is it, so what's the point of this?
Do I have to stay after midnight every day just so my bonus in EE isn't wasted or what??

here's a pro-tip:

if you change your computer clock to past midnight it counts for the daily bonus, so you could do it before you go to sleep and not lose your bonus

I was about to criticize cheating, but it's not really that bad of an idea considering that this system rewards older players even more than they already are.

Ok I can do that but it would be better that it works properly and to actually make sense instead of having to change something myself (the only clock I use when on computer)
And as N1KF said I think it's like silly cheat

There should be a button to "Collect" after you've spent your energy you already have, Cause its just pointless to get energy when your at cap

This would be good but... you could save that "Collected" energy and have an infinite energy reservoir that you can use at any time, #insta-10k.

Yes you can save that collected energy but it would be fair anyway but that energy would be "Earned", Alternatively you can just add a limit to amount of energy or a time limit to use it

I agree this should be changed, the best way would probably be to just have it add onto your current energy. So for example if you have a 200 limit and the daily reward is worth 10, it would display as: 210/200.

This could fix the issue with storing it, as you'd miss out on a ton regenerating energy trying to build it up higher. You'd get more out of just spending it right away.
