Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What does * actually * Unity give us?

I mean, remove lagging is good, but as i heard smt like it got more laggier makes unity just useless. What exactly gives you Unity? Will bot writing on Linux be possible then?

To difficult explained... Here short:

What exactly is Unity for?

Currently the admins are trying to keep EE on the PlayerIO servers, so they'd still be using the same connecting method. In other words, bots will not become any more available due to this move. Bots are unrelated, I guess.

Bots are currently possible on Linux through unity like anywhere else. It's just that nobody's done it

Re: What does * actually * Unity give us?

Bot making won't change because we will still be using the playerIO.dll (I think).
As said before, unity will give us less FPS drops/spikes. The lag where the staff is struggling with is from playerIO their side, this should get fixed. So no reason to question unity for that.
With unity I think it will be easier for staff to add new additions into the game and we have a platform that is not hated (as much) as flash. Mobile EE version could be a thing with unity too.

Oh yeah, and not to forget. A possible steam release that will hopefully boost the player count.

Well, sweet. I wasn't aware. So, you're saying since Unity runs on all the platforms, people could make the bots?

Even though my implication was probably misleading, I still stand by my statement #adamant

How to unpack a .dll format on Linux? Here's what i got:

LATITUDE | E6400
Linux KUbuntu

Not sure about exact OS meta's but here is the view:

And here is my problematically bot writer mono:

So then where exactly you see a field to be able to write a bot?
