How to show adventure league badge

NOTE: This is only a temp fix until they change the name of the Adventure League badge. Until then, this works just fine.

Instead of disabling your adblocker completely, all you have to do is this.
Note: I have Adblock Plus so it might be different if you have something else.

Click "add filter" and refresh the page. You should see this when you click on your profile (or someone who has adventure league badge).

The bug occured before the transfer. I think AdBlock is blocking it because the filename is adv.png (adblock thinks adv means advertisement?)

My mistake, just looked at the badge codenames and found it. Maybe switch the name to AVL or something?

What does AdBlocker do specifically and to what does it affect? I know that it "Blocks ads" but what will happen?

Yeah I'm pretty sure if you guys rename it Aleague (because I'm sure 'ad' is still considered an ad) it might works. But this is a temp fix because why not

wow i didnt even know adblock has access into the insides of an .swf client?

if there is an advertisement on the page it deletes that advertisement as soon as it's loaded

To add onto what Maxi said, ADs give websites and such money, but they are annoying and everywhere. Adblockers block ads, thus not giving them money (i dont think) and hiding all the ads it sees on the page. Ads can also make the game you are playing lag due to moving ads and videos and ads can change once they are done so the changing makes it slower too.

The achievements is "downloaded" from the site. If you use the exe file it wouldn't block it.

All of the badges are three characters in the coding, Aleauge wouldn't work. Like I said, avl would work.

ik, i am playing on a standalone .swf, but i thought that for an .swf inside a webpage the other things such as plugins and other website functions have no access into it's "insides"

the websites get money from people that make these ads. they pay website owners to put their ads onto the websites
the reason some websites ask you not to block ads is because if everyone blocks these ads the business will be unprofitable for ad makers and they will cancel the deal with the website -> website doesnt get the $$$ anymore

If a website wants me to support it, maybe it shouldn't have put up ads.

Now back to the badge issue

Does that mean if we had a "Bad" smiley, adblock would block the graphic for it, because Bad?

probably adblocks arent that strict, blocking everything that has word "bad" in it would trigger a lot of false positives
