Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

Maybe add a "Sure? Yes/No" when players click "GOTO LOBBY".
This would annoy some players at first, but they'll be used to smashing "Yes" in a week.

Maybe also use onbeforeunload to give a warning when players click any URL on the game's page.
On small screens the navigation buttons are closer to the game area.
Also, even if the links are really far away... when playing you usually move your mouse cursor away from the game area: if you or anyone else drops anything on the mouse button, you may leave the game.

In the future, with campaigns... imagine yourself playing an 'almost impossible' level, you're almost there after 6 hours of playing spread over two days.
Oops, clicked the lobby or facebook button or whatever. Pretty painful.
Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes.
You check a user's profile, get distracted, think you have opened the profile with "Show on hompage", click a world, you exit the level you are in.

That's your great contribution, just "no"?
I guess maybe one day you'll learn and understand what arguments are.

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

Although I don't think I've ever accidentally clicked Go To Lobby, I have accidentally clicked on a link or refreshed the page and lost progress.

So I'd definitely be okay with an "Are you sure?" prompt upon clicking Go To Lobby. I'd also like a prompt that warns you when you are about to go to another page.

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

I would find it pretty annoying when I want to leave a world ASAP. It's unlikely you'll press GOTO LOBBY accidentally, just be careful and you'll get good results.

This is a false statement.

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

Add a tick box for whether you want the warning to come up again. And a setting somewhere else as well, so you can turn it back on if you want to.

We need this, its "fun" misclicking buttons while doing important work.

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

Instead of it being on gotolobby, make it when you refresh, or exit the page. There should be an option for this. I've never clicked gotolobby on accident before and that would just be annoying.
Sometimes when I'm changing tabs I accidentally click the x.

Yes, this is what annoys, specially when I want to open a new tab but I press X.

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

When I click on "Go to lobby", 98% of the time I want to leave and I know that my progress will be lost in a world in which I did not edit, and I'm just playing a game.

However, a "all unsaved changes will be lost!" box should appear if you've made changes to a world and haven't saved them yet, when l I click "go to lobby."

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

Just dump the Goto Lobby button somewhere else farther from the other buttons so no one will misclick
also if you keep clicking X when changing tabs you should pin your tabs (chrome) so the x disappears although the tab takes up less space

Wrong.
Are you sure you want go to Lobby"?"
I think you forgot the "?"
And I don't think this window needs to be too big for a little phrase.

Re: Sure? Yes/No, when clicking "GOTO LOBBY"

what if it's like on omegle where it changes from 'go to lobby' to 'are you sure?' so you have to double click so it probably won't be an accident if someone does leave
