archive section
to stop the gravedigging, the forum should have an archive section.
closed topic or topics with no posts from 2-3 weeks (maybe month, you choose) get moved to this section by admins
only forum mods/admins can post in this section. regular users can only view the topics.
what do you think?

Lots of work.
Lots of nubs complaining cause they think there topic got deleted.
There are quite a few topic that are old, but not resolved, like forum games, and lots of fun little topics in off topic/general, too.
