Crew with this name already exists.

So apparently, when all this Crew stuff was just rising and updating n stuff, I've made a crew myself, named it "Scorched Memory", Yet after a while, turns out I don't own the Crew?
Now all I get in the Crew Tab is :

"Hey, it looks like something went wrong while trying to set a name for your crew! Click here to set a name."

Okay, let's just make the same crew maybe it got deleted or something, but no, couldn't : it was taken... Guess what.
And I went to "crew homepage", but there it stood, and showed me as Crew Owner, okay..?
I don't want a different crew or different name, I want my crew back.

You were right in connecting the idea that your crew-related issue is related to crews. however, we use the crew subforum for the more macro crew discussion. If something breaks down in the game (even a crew mechanic) we write about it in the Bug Reports spot, so I moved yer topic.

It appears you are still apart of the crew in the database, try this:
Try pressing "Switch Crew"

Then click the drop down and pick your crew

Then press select

If this doesn't work please post with screenshots.

Ya, the game is so obnoxious that it blocks you out of every crew you have until you give a crew you haven't named a name. This prevents buying a crew beforehand and then naming it when you have a name impossible if you want to stay active with your other crews easily. That whole aspect should be removed from the game.

Ah I'm sorry I did misunderstand, for now the best option is just set a name and have another crew.
Then you will have access to switch crew option.
