Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

ryzen has made intel chop their prices

with the new ryzen coming out intel has slashed their prices for $1,000 to a measly $350, with a 4 core 4 ( or 8 ) thread processor running t 4.5Ghz boost while ryzen's best has to offer 4.0GHz with 8 cores 16 threads.
this is really great but since intel has chopped their prices so much do we buy intel because its cheap or do we buy amd to support them because they chopped intel's prices

also what are you going to do b/c of this

Re: ryzen has made intel chop their prices

Seems a little dumb to support Intel for ryzen forcing them to quit overpricing their products.

Re: ryzen has made intel chop their prices

If this is true, Intel lowered their prices because AMD had a product that could compete against theirs.

I have an AMD processor atm, and it does better than the Intel processor I had (which had higher specs).

Intel processors are better for data transfer. AMD processors are better for graphics.

wouldn't it make sense to buy AMD since it's cheaper, and it can do (almost) the same thing.

Re: ryzen has made intel chop their prices

Really good news when I live in a country where the unnecessary import taxes make it cheaper to travel to Miami, buy a top-tier Intel processor AND go back than buy the processor itself here.

(I fell for the AMD FX meme though, well at least I've heard it's good for 3D rendering?)

AMD processors at least in the past have been great at threaded work loads, and most 3D rendering is very good at being threaded.

literally what does this even mean? Intel processors are better for copying files to your flash drive?
