Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Remove gravedig warning from sticky topics

That warning above the posting box may unnecessarily intimidate users from posting on a sticky topic. They should be treated like active topics since they're always at the top of the forum anyway.

Re: Remove gravedig warning from sticky topics

Imo there shouldn't be a gravedig warning at all as long as the post is relevant, for any thread.  I don't know why it exists in the first place.

I'm pretty sure that's how it already works.

Saying "nice lol" is bad.
Saying "I was thinking of posting this idea, but I found this topic so I'm going to gravedig it to see what people think" is better.

Context is key.

I see azure's point. Saying "nice lol" is spam also in active topics...

I'd rather see gravedigging than reposting.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Re: Remove gravedig warning from sticky topics

I agree but not just for stickied topics. Don't give a gravedig warning for anything that was already on the front page of a subforum. I doubt anyone is going to check the dates if the post is still there.

(Lowkey only saying this because I got a warning for it once.)

Oh.  The rules page may need updating then, as it currently states to avoid gravedigging.
