Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

How about thanksgiving? Almost all country (include ours) didn't celebrate that event, and EE added pilgrim and indian. So that's how, we need leprechaun then.

I never hear of celebrations in Ireland on St. Patrick's day; it's basically an American holiday.

A certain theme might pop up. If you've noticed, there's themes. Sometimes Halloween switches with Fall, Spring switches with Easter, so there's still a chance for this.

Seriously, of course it is an Irish holiday - but that isn't the point I'm making: Americans make a much bigger deal about St Paddy's day than Ireland.

I never said I didn't like your graphics (because it looks good), are you living in Ireland or is your heritage Irish (I'm talking about St Paddy's day in countries).

I was considering that but look at pastel and carnival bgs
I also don't see how the pattern is bad because I've seen quirkier in EE

If you like the graphics then maybe leave a woot instead of starting another flamewar
I used to live in Ireland but moved to America, and my heritage is also Irish

Another note, I never said this was supposed to be seasonal

in that case it'd work better as sky backgrounds
but the pattern doesnt look much skyish
btw i didnt say its bad, i meant it doesnt fit into ee's cartoonish graphics
