Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Music Blocks

You should be able to use speed effects in music worlds too. Maybe also ladders.

Re: Music Blocks

You should be able to use liquids, climbable, boosts and gravity. Some people use them in their music.

Re: Music Blocks

you should be able to use all actions
gravity/boosts/climbables/liquids for changing the time between notes
keydoors/coindoors/switchdoors/deathdoors/zombiedoors/teamdoors for example: to repeat notes for a x time and then go back
the portals should be player decision their ids, because of the thing i said up there
also, music blocks o course

Maybe the actions, but the problem with blocks is someone could place a block in the track and screw up the system.

Plus repeats aren't really needed, you can usually just copy the sections considering the length of the world anyway

What about gravity?
like arrows and ladders?

maybe arrows if the left arrow isn't allowed, because if they put to much it would screw up the song if its enough gravity to stop a smiley

But wouldn't a player test it anyway? It would seem weird to have a player make a song without even testing if things work, I look at it as any other thing someone can build, and having things possibly screw up didn't stop things from being implemented anyway. It seems counter-intuitive to limit the player on blocks if it will help them make different kinds of music, such as different speeds and such.

However I do agree with solid blocks, because if you don't limit those, this would just be like every other level and people could just erase the set blocks to make an empty world.

Well make them way more expensive than wide worlds (or whatever it would be) then it would be useless to use it as a building world.

Also maybe it could be that its just an empty world and when you save it it asks how the music will be played, then you click holding right, falling, boost ****, blah blah blah then it scans the world for how it would play? (Idk if this makes sense)

Since you can only use ee notes, it'd be hard to make a screaming effect //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

It's actually possible to do it using mp3 to midi conversion tools online. I've tried it in a daw, and kind of works. But with ee having to play notes one after the other and the absence of note velocity, it would be kind of hard hahah
