Toolbars are a waste of space. However, what would be beneficial would be an icon in your taskbar that creates a balloon when you get a new reply, pm, etc, and you can right click it to immediately spend energy, access your level, etc.

I love the idea, Little suggestion; maybe it would also be really cool of you could load you're energy immediatly, for people who forget to go to EE to fill up there energy (like me)
