Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

like i know youre trolling but harassment != criticism and lets not pretend that like anything you've posted has been constructive
Personally I don't see the development of ee! as something being done for the community, it's more like you're racing against the community.
We already have ee offline, archivEE, kkyle8 mod, project M, that one html5 remake, a TAS client, etc.
It's only a matter of time before we make our own EE online again, and any devs that don't produce results are going to be irrelevant.
giving me flashbacks to this thread
After looking through any popular 2010 worlds with iceberg-sounding names, "Icy Level" the closest thing I could find
yeah, i ended up finding it since the 2018 post (icy level was indeed correct)
some time in 2016, i tried going through as many "Old" world IDs as i could. back then, though, i didn't have access to the database, and didn't have a list of the IDs, so i kinda had to figure them out lol
i noticed that these Old IDs had some letters that would be consistent, with a couple extra letters that would vary across a bunch of IDs, so I'd find a world ID like PW6wEAAA, and replace the "6w" with pretty much every possible string of 2 characters. Once this was done, I'd find another ID, like PWmgMAAA, and repeat the process. Most of the time, the ID would be invalid and i'd enter a blank untitled world, but sometimes i'd see some cool level from the early days of EE that likely hadn't seen the light of day since 2010
i spent many hours doing this across many years. the process inspired this level by Deusovi and I, where we made a level that mimicked the style of these lost 2010 worlds we'd stumble across, making all of the minis seem broken due to physics changes, when in reality they were all illusion minis.
then, around 2 and a half years after i started doing this process (after i made the post in this thread) i found the level, and it was a surreal experience lol, which is why it is the first tier of the april fools 2019 "Nostalgia 2" campaign
agree, i've always been very sad that there's such a big gap in version history, there were so many 2011 specific bugs (and worlds from the period that abused them) that seem to be lost to time
once the twitter account tweeted about cold world and that was cool, more tweets that are ee related would be neat (like map showcases or ee trivia fun fact things ( I Love Everybody Edits Lore ))
looks very cool turewjyg I'm excited to play it !!
Level with deco? And arrow? And not gray basic? It will be call "interesting minigame"
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't most difficulties have more than 5 worlds? I remember there being several campaigns with Easy difficulty, as an example.
ya, this is more referencing the idea of having some sort of transition between two campaign themes (like the desert -> forest idea), as this would either require a very small gap in difficulty or many consecutive worlds to have a smooth difficulty curve
A lack of smooth gradient between difficulty makes it feel as though you've made no progress. If I beat a Medium difficulty campaign and I can't even handle a Hard campaign after that, it feels like I haven't learned anything or made any real progress.
I think the main problem here is how arbitrary and subjective difficulty is. The gap between Medium and Hard is pretty large, and the practice someone needs to take on the next difficulty varies from person to person. In Mario maker for instance, if someone beats a few Expert levels, they aren't necessarily equipped to take on a Super Expert one, but through repetition and practice of these easier levels they can get there in the end. I think as long as EE! has many options for levels of each type of difficulty, with some way to incentivize/encourage them to try them out, they'll naturally improve and challenge themselves to the harder difficulties. I'm not saying quantity over quality... but quantity is pretty important lol

also to quickly respond to this
Insane campaigns were a mistake. They made the median difficulty Medium-Hard (if I remember correctly) and that's just so yikes, most people have trouble finishing even those
the median should have always been Medium
Worst is the only insane campaign and that was an Easter Egg campaign that was never intended to be seen in the same way as the rest. I also don't really think "Median difficulty" is a fair point to make - If you lay out all of the campaigns and sort them by difficulty, the median difficulty is in fact medium, as there are more basic to medium campaigns than medium-hard to extreme. I get that extreme campaigns are definitely not for everyone, but they aren't supposed to be. Giving more experienced players the means to challenge themselves if they want is a good thing, and it is incredibly satisfying to complete these levels.
This "Lack of continuity" largely stems from how wide the skill gap in the game is. Just like how the difference in difficulty between basic and hard levels is incredibly large, the difference in skill between new players and experienced ones is large as well. The reason a campaign doesn't necessarily feel like it prepares you for one in the next difficulty is because, even though EE campaigns have 9 unique difficulties (not including insane), the gap between each is so wide that 5 Everybody Edits levels is just not going to provide a player with enough practice to climb to the next step in the difficulty ladder.
The Campaign System had a lot of problems, but the lack of continuity between each campaign really was not one of them. That problem stems more from the nature of the game as a whole. If you want to prepare players with the skills needed to start from Basic levels and end at Hard ones (not even extreme, just hard), you're going to need a lot more than 5 levels per difficulty.

Half of the times are almost impossible to beat as egg quest 2 was explained. You’d kinda have to know every strat, glitch, the route which shouldn’t be the case for time trials. Should have to be straightforward on what to do
I believe good speedrun times should actually require knowing what you're doing. In my opinion, the "good" staff times (egg quest 2, arris dome) are the difficulty of what the top tier medal should be, and the rest are too easy. (need for steed, the flighty slighty, and a few others could be improved 15%+ easily, but requires using speedrun skips; while for some the world is actually just bad)
Now for the bronze-gold (I believe most of the platinums are far too easy as well. Any world that has a greater distance gold-plat than plat-staff (which is a lot of them) should have a lower plat.) medals, sure; but most of the times there are already high enough you can do it without a specialized route.
HOW are we going to beat egg quest II rainbow??? im not a bad player[i beat 4 worst campaign tier and still doing ip], but even my 5 checkpoint perfect run [take like a hours and cheated a bit with god mode] is just only 2 second faster than rainbow
just HOW??? (sorry for gravedigging but it just really... beat it should unlock another insane campaign or campaign that even harder than it!)
before the rainbow time it have a gem hunt, and the rainbow score is EVEN BETTER THAN GEM HUNT WINNER... JUST THINK ABOUT HOW HARD IT CAN BE
if THAT is a good score for rainbow, maybe make rainbow score = WR and auto update it will make you happy, it just crazy as that
i make a practice world for that, but after i tested the time, im sure it going to be useless...
i think a good rainbow score is extreme, but not insane, and not high insane
i believe in you turewjyg, beat my boring egg quest 2 rainbow or riot
